Why is Artificial Intelligence interesting? Advanced and Familiar Explanation.
Remove AI from your daily life and observe where we stand, what we are doing, and how intelligent we are.
Artificial intelligence has been a very popular term for the last decade.
Many companies have healthy competition to develop new AI technologies.
After the launch of the ChatGPT, this war is going to the next level. And these things caught fire that AI will dominate humans.
So here are my thoughts on Artificial Intelligence.
Let’s dive into it!
What does AI mean?
You all are very well aware of the definition of AI. As the web is full of its definition. So I am giving a very short definition.
It is a system that performs actions in a way that opposes human beings or other living beings.
Or
It works more accurately and faster than humans.
How does the AI mechanism work?
- It requires some input from human intelligence to operate.
- It works on three concepts aka 3 concepts of AI: machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks.
- It is also capable of improving its intelligence by itself. As long as it performs, it will get better day by day.
- It doesn’t have the awareness to think, act or make decisions on its own.
What possibilities does AI have?
Well, the possibility of AI’s development in the future is almost inevitable. And companies invested billions of dollars in developing AI.
According to Statista investment in Artificial intelligence reached almost 94 billion dollars in 2021.
Many scientists and AI experts predict that AI will surpass humans at some point.
Most AI companies are very eager to develop AGI (ARTIFICIAL GENERAL INTELLIGENCE).
AGI is a very strong AI, it is very close to human behaviors.
If companies have developed this (AGI), then it would be a great threat to humanity.
Oh! I don’t want to scare you, it’s a prediction of the future scenario. That’s it.
Remember any AI is as good as its training data.
AI’s future depends on how useful, and how productive it is for humans.
How destructive does AI be or not?
AI’s destructive nature is a very overrated thing. Some people are very scared of its deadliest future.
But the fact is Humans built AI, Not AI built humans. And AI is built for humanity.
Yes, there are many negative impacts of AI. But the possibility should be based on reality.
Because we all have that one thing called FEAR OF UNKNOWN.
Isn’t it?
Look, everything has negative effects on humankind, irrespective of whatever it is.
AI is one of them and I believe that developers are very well aware of whatever destruction it makes.
AI will be challenging for humans. But we have something that AI doesn’t.
There is no need to worry about what happens, how we survive blah blah. We always have one step ahead of these f*king AIs.
AI is not as dangerous as we might think.
During my research, I found some articles that say:The world will be finished in the next 10 years.
If you have any further information about it, feel free to pin it in the comment section.
What kind of regulations do we need on Artificial intelligence?
Today regulations on AI differ from one country to another.
Regulations shouldn’t bother the innovation of AI.
The importance of AI regulations has increased due to its many flaws.
Some important points to remember when regulations are happening:
- Human wellness and human development must be centered around.
- Education and literacy should be an integral part of these regulations.
- Data protection and mitigating AIs risks must be prioritized.
- After regulation, this technology should have fair competition with humans. But I said FAIR, not more than that.
- It must prevent false information and also harmful content.
It contains more points, but these are basics and enough from my side.
Do you have any points? Please pin them in the comments.
Final thoughts:
So, at last, I will wrap up this article.
If you want to know about AI in the medical field. The link is here. https://scribblersden.com/article/ai-in-the-medical-field-2023.
Either we hate or love AI, but we can’t ignore it.
It is important to know that change is the only constant thing.
And AI is not more than a change if we take this as a change, then we can dominate it for sure.
Again it’s a very subjective thing how different people understand AI. Everyone has their fear and desires related to AI. So people think according to that.
But AI is not bigger than our life.
So in the end we live life with an open mind and everything else will take care of itself.
